Eck names

I have realised I really like names with a hard C sound or even better, eck. But I haven't found the right one...

If I was traditional I'd go with Rebecca - i like the becca sound but this is not our style at all

If I was a bit braver I'd go with Echo but I am not famous enough for this.

I recently have started liking Beck for a boy and this feels the right level of unusual.

Other names I like are:
Juno
Sunday
Indie
Wren
Cara

Or

Milo
Ace
Fox
Sonny

I prefer short names so they can't be shortened but can live with 2 syllables. I like unusual names and if you can find one with a Ca or Eck even better.

Any ideas?

Any child called Huck is going to be called Fuck within about ten minutes. And every teacher doing the register will probably have to concentrate very hard, at least for the first few weeks...

I don't think of fuck when I hear that name at all. You can rhyme names or link them to other words whatever their name is.

OP, Huck is a great name!

I don't think of fuck when I hear that name at all.

You might not, but I assume you're not a small boy who is at the stage of thinking rude words are funny.

@MikeUniformMike

Marek Alec Yannick Hector

Carys yes but not Cerys because it will get Serris/Cerise pronunciation.

That it does. But it's easy to correct people, besides, my daughter doesn't answer to those.
solidaritea · 13/10/2020 06:56

Caleb?
Katie?

solidaritea · 13/10/2020 06:58

Also Lex for a boy or lexie for a girl. Amazon have probably made Alexa unusable sadly

scrivette · 13/10/2020 07:04

Echo is great, use it!

MasksGlovesSoapScrubs · 13/10/2020 07:08

I have a Milo so I'm biased Grin

MikeUniformMike · 13/10/2020 11:49

I'd use Echo too. Only downside is people repeating it, and I always associate it with a newspaper.

Halo might be an alternative, or Juliet, Charlie, Delta, or India,
