We already have a little boy - Thomas and found out last night we're having a little girl.
Would love some classic but also not overused girls names.
Can't begin with H!

Ha ha I see my name is mentioned a couple of times. I don't see it as timeless, I think it's dates me as being born in the 60s (which I am.)

Already mentioned, but I thing Charlotte and Eleanor are pretty timeless in that I can imagine both babies and old women with the name. I would also put Elizabeth and Rebecca but I know you don't like them. I would also put Hannah, Grace, Emma, Emily and Alice in that category.

PS I love Thomas, it was my dad's name so always a soft spot for it.

Hi @MaryShelley1818

Emily, Alice and Charlotte are gorgeous.

I know you said you couldn't used Charlotte because you have Charlie's in the family, but this really upsets me! You said you absolutely love the name and it was probably your favourite. Having Charlies in the family should not stop you from naming your child your perfect name. If you don't want to name her Charlotte because you want her to stand out more or because the Charlies in your family aren't great people, I understand, but if you don't want to name her your favourite name incase it upsets other family members I would try and ignore that - I'm firmly of the view you can name your child whatever you want!!
