How many baby Anna/Annie's do you know?

And which part of the country are you?

Really struggling with baby girl names. DS has an uncommon shortening of a traditional but pretty out of favour name (top 150-200), which we love. We haven't met another and are hoping for similar for baby number 2, but struggling to find it!

1 Annie (11) and 1 Anna (5). Scotland (central belt).

One Anna aged 4.

I know one Annie who is four and live in the north west! I think Anna/Annie are gorgeous names x

I don’t know any baby Anna’s. I know 2 in their 30’s and I suggested it to one of the mums when she told me they were thinking of Anne. It’s a lovely name.

What about Jenny (Jennifer) as a more unusual name?
Or Gennie (Genevieve)?

One age 6 one 30ish, both Anna. Home Counties

One annie in her 30s
One anna who has just finished school this year
One annie in junior school
One annie in reception year
And bizarrely, identical twins called
Anna and arna (not sure on arna spelling) they must be in school now

Annie has been on a downward slope numbers wise since 2015 so the comment above about it suddenly "getting very popular" is not reflected by the actual statistics

In my teaching career I've only taught one Ana, and she'd be about 16 now.
