I'm Scottish but living in England. I would prefer a Scottish name. DS1 is Rory.....I didnt choose Gaelic spelling so that people would be able to pronounce it!
What do you think of these names and smy other suggestions?

Fergus
Magnus
Lachlan
Gregor
Alistair
Callen

My grandparents are Scottish and I can hardly think of any Scottish names (they both have English
sounding names) but I change my mind on Alistair, I actually really like it. Good luck.

I've just had a friend point put that as out surname sounds quite Scandinavian (but isn't) Magnus may not be great as theyll be getting asked if they are Scandinavian!

I like Callen the best :) Rory and Callen sound sweet together!

I don’t like Magnus at all, but I may be biased as someone I dislike named their son Magnus 😂

I'm adding Duncan to the list! I like Hamish too but our surname begins with H so not sure about that!
