Hamish, Malcolm, Cameron?

Thoughts on these three? We have been umm-big and ahh-big over a boy name for what seems like forever! Dunno the sex but baby due in a few weeks now s as d it is starting to stress me out. We can't call it baby three can we? 🤣

I quite like Malcolm - it's maybe due a comeback! Not keen on Malc, though.

Malcolm's a lovely name. I don't think it's an old man name at all.

Most Scottish names are classic and suitable for every generation.

Hamish - nice
Malcolm - fine, will be Mal or Malc
Cameron - it's been extremely popular in Scotland, will be just Cam, and it makes me think of the former PM.

Malcolm is brilliant. Retro, with a few shortening. Mal is great.

If I had to pick then I'd choose Cameron

I like them all. Malcolm feels like it’s in the “due for a comeback” class of names. Douglas is in the same category to me, and I like it too.

Malcolm is an old man name.... but lots of old
Man names are having a revival.. you might become a trendsetter.

I like them all. I'm Scottish and OH is Irish and would shorten Malcolm to Colm which I like too. There are loads of Hamishes around here, I still like it but it's getting a bit overused.

Love Hamish, hate Malcolm. Cameron just makes me think David which is fine if that's what floats your political boat but we ruled it out for that reason.
