Girls:

Lorelei June (pronounced “Lora-lie”); familiarized by Gilmore Girls. I’ve actually always loved this name, but I realize it isn’t traditional or classic, which probably invites disdain since it’s not established like Charlotte; nns include Lora and Lola.

Genevieve Grace (or Genevieve Noelle); nns include Vivi, Gigi, Ginny, and Evie

Violet Isabel: Love this name, but Violet might have already been claimed by a family member

Boys:

Christopher Blake — I love Christopher Robin! And my grandma’s brother George Blake, who went by his middle name Blake, died in WW2, so I was thinking of honoring him through also calling my son by his middle name Blake. Plus, I dislike Chris as a nn. And I love William Blake!

Henry James: Literary & handsome imo, but would Peter be better?

Thanks in advance!

Sorry but I couldn’t help but notice that your first girl and boy name were Lorelai and Christopher Grin

I love Lorelai and Genevieve But I don’t really like your boy names

Lmao it must be subconscious or something! Do you have any boy name suggestions? I tend to like classics for boys, but I’m open to suggestions ☺️

I know one lorelei and she pronounces it Lora-lay. She’s a little promiscuous so there’s lots of laying jokes about her. She’s in her 20s. You may have to correct people a lot with pronouncing it.
Genevieve is beautiful and I love Henry James.

That’s why I am not into Layla, but I can see that joke being used for anyone with Lay/Lie names. Lorelei is growing more popular and its pronunciation has become almost standardized through GG. It’s good to keep these things in mind🥰 Other than that teasing issue, is Lorelei (“Lora-lie” nn “Lola) too odd? Too insubstantial compared to Charlotte or something? Does it sound alright with Genevieve? Thanks btw for your feedback!
