Vivian - lovely but I prefer Vivienne spelling

Interesting list. Many are the names of friends from my 1970s childhood

Amanda - 1970, but I like the sound
Caprice - capricious, don't like it
Christina - also 1970, but I like it
Vanessa - also 1970! But I have always liked it
Estella - bit try hard. Meaning is lovely
Hazel - pretty
Celestia/Celeste - prefer Celeste, makes me think of Marie Celeste

Elle/Eleanor - WEleanor is one of my all time favourites. Lovely
Daphne or Pandora - both awful

Valentina is gorgeous - I knew one growing up. As you're moving to Italy - go for it.

Christina is very pretty and has an international feel. Feels like it's due a revival.

Vanessa feels due to a revival too. I work with one who goes by Nessa which is very pretty.

Good job we don't all agree as then all kids would have the same name.

I feel the same about Daphne, which is in your top 5! And I like Vanessa, which is quite 1970s but due a revival.

I always think these threads are interesting, as people have such different tastes. I'd love to have a mini bio next tp each poster - how old, and how old your kids are. I think it makes a difference to how we view names
