I'm currently really liking the name Marnie but I can't decide if it sounds too much like a nickname or if it's ok as a stand-alone name. Would be grateful for other people's views! If we had a longer name on the birth certificate do you think Marina or Margaret (or something else) would work better?

The other possible name contender at the moment is Jemima...

The only Marnie I know would be in her early 50s now....
It's a cool timeless name.
Wonder if the Hitchcock film popularised it back then....
