If a baby was due on 12th November, which one would you use?!

(My friend likes both - she thinks it is Autumn and I think WinterBlush)

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Technically winter doesn't start til around the 21st December. So if you want to name her after the season she was born in it would be autumn.

BreastedBoobilyToTheStairs · 06/07/2020 13:49

Summer, just to confuse people.

Spied · 06/07/2020 13:50

Autumn

MilaRos · 06/07/2020 13:53

Autumn

BabyLlamaZen · 06/07/2020 13:57

I didn't realise winter was so late. I mean I mind of get it

Spring: March, April, May
Summer: June, July, August
Autumn: September, October, November
December: December, January, February

I just always think of November as a winter month! But I have been told!

Winter starts in late November/early December for me. So I'd go for Autumn. Regardless, I think Autumn is a much lovelier name.

PuntoEBasta · 06/07/2020 15:18

Meterological winter starts on 1 December; astronomical winter starts on 21 December, so by either definition she's an autumn baby. Lovely name.

Ellewoods20 · 06/07/2020 15:20

Definitely Autumn.

Thistlegirl4 · 06/07/2020 16:07

Autumn

teaflake · 06/07/2020 16:09

Autumn.

JaJaDingDong · 06/07/2020 16:10

Neither (sorry)

Evelefteden · 06/07/2020 16:15

I really like both! I think that November is winter too so if your leaning to that go for it Grin

BabyLlamaZen · 06/07/2020 16:19

@JaJaDingDong I wasnt asking name opinions, more what season it actually was and how people see it Grin

Your question was "If a baby was due on 12th November, which one would you use?!"

I said "Neither" which is an acceptable answer to your question I think.

Flappingflamingo · 06/07/2020 16:54

Just double checked and the first day of winter this year is 21st dec

Photosofyou · 06/07/2020 19:22

I love both! But Autumn takes the slight edge

user1493494961 · 06/07/2020 20:18

I'm also a 'neither'.

HavingAMoan · 06/07/2020 21:12

I’m going Winter, as long as it’s not paired with Rose.
