What names do you consider to be posh?

After reading a post on here earlier, I am genuinely intrigued as to what names people consider to be "posh"? One of the commentators on the original post I was reading stated that they considered the name of my second daughter to be posh - to me it's a classic name but I wouldn't say especially posh (although it is shared with a certain young member of the Royal family, so perhaps it is)? Anyway enough of my random ramblings... come on hit me with the poshest name you can think of.

I couldn’t use it for Dd as it’s all my passwords 🤣🙈 (with extra bits so no one thinks of hacking me! You’d never guess the extras)

The 'poshest' people I know are called Kingsley, Benjamin, Joy and Felix.

I disagree with lots of names already suggested , agree with Tarquin and Peregrine , which are awful and posh . For girls I think along the lines of Cressida , which is lovely .

But generally classic names I would say are chosen by more traditionally "posh" people.
Charles, Edward, Richard, alexander, Alexandra, elizabeth,

Antigone, Caroline, Hillary.

But the smartest people I know are named Jo and Jonathan (not same family).

Posh doesn't mean awful surely though?
My XH & is DB, my DD and my BFFs DD bakes have been mentioned already.

Posh, Classic - it doesn't seem nice to judge just on a name.

Does anybody remember it? It was gold.

Some names start out posh but then become popular and therefore less posh; it can go in waves. But I have never met a Fenella who wasn't posh.

My dad was really unhappy with our ‘snob’ choices of names. He’s from a shipyard town in the North and felt I had abandoned my roots (despite never living there)

We have a Caspian, and an Ezra. We have Ottilie and Neomi, Otto, Septimus picked out for future little ones if we go again. For me, some are linked to Judaism, others to my Dutch ancestry, others are just baby name favourites.

My dad, grandad and one of my first cousins must be posh😂. Their first name having been mentioned a few times. In Ireland Francis or Frances for a woman wouldn't be considered posh at all! In fact it would be considered an older name (after St. Francis of Assisi) and a good 'holy' name and very ordinary. And they would all be over 50. Usually it's shortened to Frank or Fran.

One of my grandsons is called one of these, my union shop steward parents were horrified.

Some of the names on here are the opposite of posh. Many are ordinary, some are positively downmarket.
