DS1 is Max. Never found out the sex whilst pregnant, but we were lucky he was a boy in the end as this was the only boys' name we loved/ could agree on, so he was named the second he was born. Before getting pregnant, I'd loved traditional names for boys (James, Edward, William etc) but with our surname being Smith, they always felt a bit too bland (and they are all family names so likely be used as middle names).
We had a longer list of girls' names (Robyn/Rose(Rosie)/Alice/Ruby) but none really felt right at the time and I think I would've been struck by uncertainty and indecision if he had been a girl!
So, what other names would you suggest for a sibling for Max?
