Help! Baby Boy is arriving on Monday and there isn’t one single boys name that I like let alone think I want to give to my baby. Please throw every boys name at me.

The girls' names you list are quite classic.

How about:
James (Jamie, Jim)
Nathaniel (Nat, Nate, Nathan)
Theodore (Theo/Teddy)
Edward (Eddie/Ed/Ted)
Sebastian (Seb)
Alexander (Al, Alex, Sandy, Xan, Xander)
Leo
Max
Gabriel
Raphael (Raffie is lovely for a little boy and Rafe once he's older)

Heath?
I also agree with @monkey

I agree about a timeless classic name like
Caspar
Quentin
Raphael
Marcus

mamablondie2 · 30/05/2020 15:03

@SippingOnStraightChlorine I think you need to start with types of names and maybe go from there. For example:

Do you like traditional names? Eg William

Do you like more modern names? Eg Jackson

Do you like Biblical names? Eg Noah

Also could be helpful to think about why you don’t like certain names - too popular? not wanting to be shortened?

I find baby names overwhelming so i would try and narrow it down more generally first.

For what it’s worth boys names I like:

Dylan
Hugo
Isaac
Hudson
Theo(dore)
Zach(ary)
Arthur
Huxley
Lachlan (Lachy for short?)
Ciaran
Noah

Wheresthebiffer2 · 30/05/2020 15:06

Call him the same as his Dad. ie John junior. Or after your Dad? or Dad's middle name?

EmbarrassedUser · 30/05/2020 16:47

Max, Nathan, Toby, Nathanial, Samual, Daniel, James, Jamie, Nathanial.

EmbarrassedUser · 30/05/2020 16:47

Oops, put one twice!
