Sorry.
Posted too soon.

I thought it was pretty written down, but a bit of a tongue twister to say .

Anybody met one in real life?
Or heard of one?
Am I saying it wrong?

Ellamilly? Not spelling but pronunciation? If so, no

blackandredball · 27/05/2020 23:31

Brings to mind this

peperethecat · 28/05/2020 10:40

It's very hard to say. I wouldn't lumber a child with that.

MikeUniformMike · 28/05/2020 14:13

Does the stress fall on the first syllable, like it does in Emily?
or is it more like El Lily?

I can't say I like it.

WitsEnding · 28/05/2020 14:15

Prefer Eloide (although autocorrect is trying to say Eloise, which could be annoying)

WitsEnding · 28/05/2020 14:16

I meant Elodie, apology to autocorrect!

No m, just Ell a lee
MikeUniformMike · 28/05/2020 14:38

So like Ella Lee?

I'm not keen on Eloise or Elodie. The ones who spell Eloise as Elouise are Confused.

The names themselves are ok but there are so many similar names that they seem samey.

emmathedilemma · 28/05/2020 16:34

Definitely a tongue twister!

gwilt · 28/05/2020 16:40

I know an Elia. Another option. Always gets read as Ella though :)

MikeUniformMike · 28/05/2020 20:11

Elia is a boy's name

gwilt · 29/05/2020 19:05

Yes. It can be used for girls too. The one I know is a girl.
