Really interesting - our chosen boy name has only come up on here a couple of times (although anyone who knows a Mr B Johnson will know a baby born with it recently ) and our girl choice hasn't come up at all Keep them coming!

I also really love the amount of variety in the names coming up on here. Based on the number of 'Rebecca W's and 'James H's at my primary school, I can't imagine there'd be so many different names if this thread was posted in the late 80s/early 90s!

I said Wilfred and that's because I included Boris in my list as I only had 4 mates that have had babies recently 🤣 @Dollywilde
There was another thread about Wilfred so it was at the front of my mind. I bet if you asked 100 people on the street what Boris' baby is called most will have forgotten by now or never paid attention in the first place

That's true @Dollywilde - if you're look at the statistics, in the 1980s something like 65% of all babies were given a top 100 name. Now it's 40% or something and falling. If you go back further 1 in every 7 men were called John at one time 🤣
