Not for me sadly but was asked to post.
37 weeks so not long to go:

Cailín (the Gaelic word for girl)
Lumen
Polly
Elowen
Romilly
Cadence
Della
Evelyn (ev-lin)
Sabine (pr the french way ‘een’)
Delilah
Fiadh

Bit of a mixed bag there ...

Surprised Della is so popular...it's seems like such a plain name to me

MrsDrudge · 01/05/2020 13:24

I think they all sound pretty, except for Lumen which is the width of the hole going down the middle of a tube (eg the Lumen of a needle or a piece of pipework) . Personally I’d avoid that but I like all the others.

Yes agree with surprise at Della being ok! It's really horrid - like a nickname but not actually short for anything, and to me it's along the lines of Delia, Deirdre - just no.

riotlady · 01/05/2020 19:08

I like them all except Lumen and Sabine

Lampan · 01/05/2020 19:12

Lumen made me think blood vessel/intestine too I’m afraid! Or unit of brightness. Either way it’s more ‘school science lab’ than a name I think...

Lumen
Polly
Elowen
Delilah

I like elowen and delilah and fiadh is unusual in a good way

Really not keen on lumen, polly or cadence personally.
Lumen like others, makes me think of lightbulbs.

I knew a Della growing up and she was lovely, so vibrant and bubbly. Fantastic singer and so pretty I really looked up to her as a kid. May get misheard for Bella though which I associate with a dog..

Delilah or Polly or Sabine
