Hi Everyone:

I like the sound of Star Darling but would like a hyphenated name b4 Star. Something Classic or gender neutral is ideal. I also like the name Jane but not with Star so I'm open for suggestions to go with the name Jane either before or after as well. Thanks so much for any thoughts.

It has to be Wendy. Or at least Wendy in the middle somewhere.

Wendy! Obviously.

Astra and Stella are star themed, and make a nicer sound than ‘star’.
Don’t hyphenate anything!

OnlyToWin · 25/04/2020 10:47

Lucy Star Darling

Lucy means “bringer of light” so the names work well together.
The only problem would be the initials spelling LSD so maybe

Lucy Jane Darling would be better.

what about seren instead of star ? its means star in welsh ... like alice seren darling or ella seren darling , arabella seren darling, ophelia seren darling , these all work with star too but i much prefer seren its a less out there than star , stella could be another alternative too .. but obviously if you love it then go for it :) x

Ellmau · 25/04/2020 18:55

If you like the meaning of star, might you like Stella or Estella/Estelle instead?

Seren is less out there than star. It's pronounced SERR-en, the en is as in hen and pen. The first e is also a short e. It's often mispronounced as Sairun.

Pretty names:

Rosa
Rosalie
Anastasia
Natasha
Cassia
Eleanor
Isabel/Isabella
Lucy
Elodie
