Help name Rexs brother

Expecting baby boy number 2 very soon and we still have no names!

My 4 year old DS is named Rex James and we would love a name that is a little bit different and not so popular (like Rex) but we are struggling!

We have decided on the middle name George as it runs through both families.

We seem to go round names like
Arlo
Felix
Leo
River

Any suggestions would be lovely!!

Thanks

Definitely some lovely ideas yes!!
I love Milo but someone said to me it was too doggy with Rex too. Which I can't get out of my mind.

I had also picked up the cat/dog reference with Rex and Felix 😂

I think the front runner is Arlo... Me and my other half like it. Just worry as its becoming popular!

Any more suggestions welcome!

Arlo is lovely @Natalie150 - one of my favourites

I also think Rex and Milo are great together and not too doggy. You could always have Miles as his official name but call him Milo day to day

Arlo is likely to be very popular. I'm not keen. Hugo is nicer.

Rex makes me think of Rex Harrison, so how about something from that era. Then again, he was really Reginald.

Arlo is very popular now...I have two in my current year 1 class and there's 1 in the parallel year 1 class. Also 2 more in school 🤷‍♀️.

(And every time I hear it, I just can't help thinking of the dinosaur in The Good Dinosaur film, which is very cute, but you've already got a 'Rex' 🤦‍♀️)

Ralph would go lovely with Rex

liferips · 29/04/2020 11:30

If you are not keen on popular names then forget the name Arlo.

It is very fast rising in popularity at the moment and will really date.

You will be one of the many choosing it at the moment thinking it is unique only to find your son is in a class with three others.

HaveAtEm · 29/04/2020 12:16

Arlo is also tipping the scales on the current ‘wet names’ thread 😂

HaveAtEm · 29/04/2020 12:17

Along with many of the other names suggested on this thread actually, including Milo 🤷‍♀️ Check it out before naming your baby OP!
