Middle name to go with Luna?

We are having a little girl and we're lucky enough to both fall in love with the same name quite early on which we now refer to her as in bump . I'm keen on her having a middle name (not double barrelled just as a middle name) but OH isn't too fussed either way, so I need to a nice one to go with Luna to prove him otherwise. Surname begins with Mc.

I had thought of Luna Grace. Luna Rose I know is popular but I'm a teacher and have a little girl in my class with that name double barrelled so would like to stay away from that.

I do get the correspondence with 'lunatic' etc, but i think you could Micky take a name with almost anything.

Doesn't stop us liking it- I had a surname that was sometimes used in jest and I survived with no lasting damage 😂

Luna Florence is gorgeous! Although I'm biased as I have a little Florence.

I think for first names either go with a family name or go with something you love but aren't brave enough to use as a first name, no matter how outlandish. They are just so optional to declare, even on school forms etc that I find using popular names as filler middle names a bit pointless. Mine have pretty outlandish middle names and they love them. If they hate it when older they don't need to use them.

lunatic. A lunatic is someone who is either clinically insane or just acting really crazy. Someone driving too fast and zigging in and out of traffic is driving like a lunatic. The root of this word is luna, which means moon.

I’m sure OP is aware of what a lunatic is. She didn’t ask for opinions on the name Luna. She asked for middle name suggestions.

I definitely agree you can take the mick out of anything. A girl at school called Abbey was always “Abbey National Bank” and really bullied for it (bizarre) yet another girl with surname Pratt, nothing was ever mentioned! You can’t predict really @squashie34
