We have a Margot and now need a boys name but can't find anything we love.

I know a beautiful girl called Margot (it's such a wonderful name and really suits her, she's gorgeous) and her brothers name is Caleb

Her brother is Rocco. He’s 1 and she’s 3. I way prefer the name Margot to Rocco...

Barnaby is just such a lovely underused name. I’d go with that for sure!

I have a Margot. Her big brother is Arthur.
I love Arthur obviously, but it is perhaps getting a bit over used recently.
I also loved Clement. That's what I would use if naming a boy now 😍
Barnaby is lovely too as long as the NN is Bee rather than Barny.

Can you use Caspian instead of Casper?

Yes Caspian was on the list but not sure my husband was keen, also had Cassian and Cassius.
We have a Toby already! This is baby number three...

I still like the Cass names, Barnaby and Raife/Rafe/Raphael but feel like I don't LOVE any of them...

I like Kit but think it's quite popular now?

Interesting to see which names people feel go with Margot, lots of names I like or names of friends children. Some surprises, like Rocco!

@Namemybaby Kit is getting more popular but that’s relatively speaking as it’s still pretty unusual . It was Number 193 in the charts in 2018 (the most recent year we have stats for) and accounting for 0.042% of all babies

Kit for me is a nickname of Christopher, rather than a name in its own right.

Although I do prefer kit to Christopher

I’ve always liked Loomis for a boy. Out there.

I think Laurie and Margot sound delightful together!

Margot sounds very 1930s to me, so Laurie goes really well.

I had forgotten until this thread that it was Anne Frank's sister's name.

I would avoid Hugo, Milo etc - too many final o's in one group of siblings.

I personally would avoid Raif Rafe Rafferty Raphael if you’re concerned about popularity . Each name on its own is pretty unusual but all added together I do know quite a few Raffy’s locally x

Just replying to the bit where you've said you like cass names. While i was pregnant and looking for names i thought about Castiel (i watch alot of supernatural lol) in the end i had a DD but still love the name. No more children for me so im thinking it might end up a pets name somewhere down the line....
