Caspar or Caspian?

Which do you prefer and why?

Caspian

No Ghost association and also both Casper and Jasper seem to have leapt in popularity recently

It has a stronger chance of him being the "only" in his cohort at school

Caspian is lovely

Caspar all the way

What about Balthasar and Melchior?
I think Caspian is lovely.

I know a Caspian (3yo) and no Caspars! I like both, but prefer Caspar, which was on our list for a boy.
