Shortens to Rex. Or Xita? I think Brexina is nicer, personally.

Hirsutefirs · 01/02/2020 18:10

Remona!

TheThingWithFeathers · 01/02/2020 18:11

And Farage for a boy?

HerRoyalFattyness · 01/02/2020 18:19

Mona? Short for remona?

Brex for a bit is very cool, but brexita seems a bit dated and "of its time"

Elisheva · 01/02/2020 18:21

Would it be Brex-i-ta, or Brex-ee-ta?

Torchlightt · 01/02/2020 18:22

How about Mymumfuckedupmycountrya?

raskolnikova · 01/02/2020 19:06

Nigella Faragina?

diddlediddle · 01/02/2020 20:38

Yeah I like Xita and Mona. It is of its time, true, but I also think it has staying power... and probably more than half of people will like it

Ramona is on my girl list but I just can't do it to her

WeBuiltThisBuffetOnSausageRoll · 03/02/2020 18:54

It's getting more common these days to take a common name and add a slightly exotic twist to it - stick a 'van' or 'de' in there, or even an umlaut.

How about L' Eva?

CloudPop · 03/02/2020 18:56

How about L' Eva?

🤣🤣🤣🤣

BecauseReasons · 03/02/2020 18:59

How about L' Eva?

Inspired! And on-trend. Kudos. Grin

Fannia · 03/02/2020 18:59

My dh will annoyingly pronounce it Brit-exitta.

ofwarren · 03/02/2020 19:01

How do you you pronounce that? Is it Brex eeta or Bregz eeta?

ChangedMyNameYetAgain · 03/02/2020 19:09

L'eve is enough.

You could experiment with spellings and nicknames.
Leev, Leeve, Laeve, Lieve or, if you have (Northern) Irish connections, Liamh.

ChangedMyNameYetAgain · 03/02/2020 19:11

Other suggestions:
Bregzita/Bregsita
Europa-Unity
Schengena
Remaine

Hm, I'd have thought Brexita's family would disapprove of that sort of foreign muck.

Wouldn't it be better to find a good Old English name, preferably one which can be spelled using a good Old English character such as a thorn or yogh?

ChangedMyNameYetAgain · 03/02/2020 19:14

Ooh, I like Nigella Faragina, but could you get Ann Widdecombe in there too?

Nigella-Anne Faragina Widdecombe Diddle

ChangedMyNameYetAgain · 03/02/2020 19:15

Widdecombella?

borntobequiet · 03/02/2020 19:16

And her twin sister Europa

HerRoyalFattyness · 03/02/2020 19:16

How about Borisette?

ChangedMyNameYetAgain · 03/02/2020 19:17

Yunka Tusketta van der Diddle

Quizeerascal · 03/02/2020 19:46

Borisina works nns could be Sina or Bo

00100001 · 03/02/2020 19:54

Is it pronounced Brex-itta, brex-eeta, or Jane?
