Baby girl coming in 9 days, please help us name her!

We like vintage girls names but are having trouble narrowing down our list. Options we’re considering (with nicknames)-

Adelia (Ada or Della)
Genevieve (Eve)
Violet
Francesca
Edith (Edie)
Mirabelle (Mira or Belle)
Estelle
Margot
Eleanor (Nell)
Fern
Rose
Elodie
Vera

Please let us know your opinions- we’re also open to suggestions! We would prefer something that’s not too common. Surname ends in an ‘e’ sound.

I like Rose and Elodie the best from your list. Elodie Rose would be a lovely name.

All the others are ok but not my favourites.

I like Margot and Elodie. Also not the same but I like Adaline so that’s a suggestion for you

Adelia (Ada or Della - why not just choose from Ada or Della? Both are lovely. (Both nicer than Adelia, imo).
Genevieve (Eve) - prefer Eve.
Violet - very nice.
Francesca - a bit frilly.
Edith (Edie) - lovely.
Mirabelle (Mira or Belle) - prefer Mirabel spelling. Very nice.
Estelle - love it.
Margot - nice.
Eleanor (Nell) - You 'll end up with 'Ellie' regardless of your hopes. Dislike Nell as a name; reminds me of 'knell'.
Fern - too wispy; don't like.
Rose - seems a bit truncated to me. Prefer Rosemary/Rosalie/Rosa.
Elodie - sounds like a shortened 'Melody'; nn very likely to be Ella.
Vera - my favourite of them all. Beautiful.

I would choose from Ada, Della, Edith, Estelle and Vera.

Your list is very similar to mine for dd2.

I love Edith and Violet best from your choices.
We would have gone for Eleanor ourselves but dislike Nell/Nellie.

Also had Meredith, Annabel, Clementine and Nancy as contenders.

We called her Elspeth.

Adelia (Ada or Della) - not sure about this one. I wouldn't use Della as a nickname for it, but maybe Delia
Genevieve (Eve) - not a fan
Violet - too much like 'violent', and "Vye" is a mean-sounding nickname
Francesca - cute, with nice potential nicknames - Frankie, Fran, Cheska
Edith (Edie) - noooo
Mirabelle (Mira or Belle) - lovely
Estelle - ok
Margot - no
Eleanor (Nell) - lovely
Fern - absolutely not. Floaty and flimsy.
Rose - gorgeous
Elodie - too try-hard for a girl in England
Vera - love it
