(Friend with no account - Not me.)

18 month old Florence currently at home, girl on way.

Not Italian but honeymooned there and they love it.

Florence and Siena ?

Lovely.

I don't think everyone would immediately make the connection.

Omashu · 20/01/2020 11:54

I agree with Botanical! I think it’s love even when you do realise the connection.

SundayMorningSun · 20/01/2020 11:56

I wouldn't personally, but it is quite sweet. And they won't always be discussed as a pair their whole lives.

MopsRUs · 20/01/2020 12:27

Too naff, sorry!

Peony99 · 20/01/2020 12:28

I wouldn't. Both good names in their own right, though.

daisypond · 20/01/2020 12:56

I think it’s OK. It’s not too obvious. Siena is the Italian city but Firenze for Florence in Italian, anyway, so quite different.

Whatsyourflava · 20/01/2020 13:02

I think it’s absolutely fine. Two really lovely names. Not a problem.

Changedname81 · 20/01/2020 14:24

Thanks will pass this on 🙃

I think it’s a bit obvious tbh. And makes them look like Tuscany nuts.

Siena will constantly be spelling it as everyone will assume its double n.

I’d go for Venetia personally. Or an Italian name like Cosima or Raffaella.

NoSauce · 20/01/2020 16:09

It’s fine.

SinkGirl · 20/01/2020 16:11

Lovely. I would use them myself but then I am a Tuscany nut 😂

DramaAlpaca · 20/01/2020 16:35

I wouldn't. I think it's twee and I made the connection straight away.

Change the spelling of Siena to Sienna and you might just about get away with it.

BaronessBomburst · 20/01/2020 16:41

It's a no from me. I clicked on this thread with a raised eyebrow and wondering if it was a joke.
That said, DS is at school with a Terra, who has an older sister called Luna. I don't know about the parents, but none of the children have made the connection.

user1493494961 · 20/01/2020 19:13

I think it's OK, not everyone would make the connection, but I would spell it Sienna.

ZoeandChandon · 20/01/2020 19:25

I didn’t make an immediate connection. I was thinking of the colour. Lovely names.

IdblowJonSnow · 20/01/2020 19:29

I wouldn't either and I think it's pretty obvious.

PeytonManning · 20/01/2020 19:32

I know a sibling set called Florence and Siena and it never dawned on me the connection!

AlphaNumericalSequence · 20/01/2020 19:37

Too naff. And Sienna is a type of car.

XXcstatic · 20/01/2020 19:41

Twee. Just choose an Italian name, if you want a theme.

Egghead68 · 20/01/2020 19:42

No.

frillyfarmer · 20/01/2020 21:06

Eurgh, it's FAR too twee, even if you are a Tuscan nut!!

BaronessBomburst · 20/01/2020 21:30

And Sienna is a type of car.
Don't you mean a Ford Sierra?

Dinosaursdontgrowontrees · 20/01/2020 21:32

I think it’s lovely.

Mamabear88 · 22/01/2020 09:47

I think it's fine but definitely spell Sienna
