I personally find it quite harsh-sounding, but I don't dislike it. I love that it is unusual these days, but everyone would know how to say and spell it.

DrWAnker · 18/01/2020 12:42

Lovely. Unusual without being unusual iyswim.

Rainsnow · 18/01/2020 12:46

Dislike a lot

BikeRunSki · 18/01/2020 12:48

I like it’s meaning (Heather) more that the sound of the name IYSWIM, although I do know a toddler Erica who is very sweet.

Aniticipate Erica/Erika spelling mix ups.

HorridHamble · 18/01/2020 12:53

I really like it. I like the way it sounds, how it looks on paper and it’s a name that ends in an -a, without being flouncy and frilly. My daughter has a similar name. Thumbs up from me.

Whatsyourflava · 18/01/2020 13:13

I like it

I really love Eric for a boy but had forgotten Erica. A hidden gem defs

hazandduck · 18/01/2020 13:14

Ooh yes I like!

onalongsabbatical · 18/01/2020 13:49

Oh really lovely!

MamaDane · 18/01/2020 13:51

It's nice Smile

Clangus00 · 18/01/2020 13:56

Nothing wrong with it.

Dyra · 18/01/2020 14:30

I think it's a nice name. Not too popular, not unusual, not horribly old, easy to spell, would work at all ages.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 18/01/2020 14:36

I love it. My DDs friend is Erica. Named after her Grandad. It is one of those names though where I think most people would assume it was after someone.

WoodliceInSunderland · 18/01/2020 14:38

Lovely name!

DramaAlpaca · 18/01/2020 14:41

If it's spelled Erika it's nice, it has a sort of cool, Scandi feel.

Erica looks more dated, very 70s, but it's OK.

Both would be a refreshing change these days.

Angie6868 · 18/01/2020 14:42

I don't like it

MikeUniformMike · 18/01/2020 14:49

Fine but quite unusual. Older people might remember Erica Roe.
As a plant it's heather, which could be a name.

NotNowPlzz · 18/01/2020 14:54

Love it

73Sunglasslover · 18/01/2020 14:54

I don't like it. I don't think you'll find a name that everyone likes though, so call her what you like.

OwlBeThere · 18/01/2020 15:02

I think that’s an odd thing to say and I certainly don’t think that.
It’s a nice name. I hate Eric for a bit though.

BobbyBlueCat · 18/01/2020 15:22

I don't like it. It has a very 'pointy' and harsh sound to it.

MumOfOneAndAHalf · 18/01/2020 21:19

Thanks for the feedback. Genuinely helpful x

I'm not a fan I'm afraid. I find it quite dated and harsh sounding.
I remember a video doing the rounds on social media where this American girls name was spelled 'air-wrecka' bless her

Clettercletterthatsbetter · 19/01/2020 09:31

I love it. Sadly it doesn’t work with our DD’s name or I’d have it on the list for this one.

Astronica · 19/01/2020 09:41

I like it. Grown-up and stylish to me, and under-used while still quite recognisable. I see it as being like names such as Lydia, Julia, Claudia, Antonia - a style I like.

jfoyo26 · 19/01/2020 14:08

Love it! Unfortunately for me husband doesn't
