I love Eva, it’s very classically lovely - a contender for us!

Eva is lovely but it is so, so, so popular now. Also 12 years of teaching An Inspector Calls has given in some pretty depressing connotations in my mind!

I'd pick Eva from your choices. Flora is nice too but I use the sunflower spread of the same name so wouldn't use it based on that

I worked with a Nina once it was short for a foreign name I think. She was much older than me but she was lovely, kind, spoke her mind and very eccentric.

Rae is, ahem, not very classy. Plus sounds the same as old man's name Ray.

Edna is absolutely horrendous. Just a very ugly name, IMO.

Nina - I don’t know any little Ninas at all and it’s lovely!!

I know a 70 year old Daphne and she is just the most awesome person. I aspire to be like her. I’d definitely call a child Daphne as it would make me think of her!
