Flora - love it
Eva n- don't like it

@Frothybothie I know the mind boggles id love to know if anyone wants to inbox me why messages got deleted and banned?!

NemophilistRebel · 09/01/2020 16:40

I read the last one but not the first one. The last one was just strange. For a brand new poster to come on and register to post something so irrelevant boggles the mind

I love Eva, it’s very classically lovely - a contender for us!

YourOpinionIsNoted · 09/01/2020 17:34

Eva is lovely but it is so, so, so popular now. Also 12 years of teaching An Inspector Calls has given in some pretty depressing connotations in my mind!

Sparklypurpleunicornsaremyfav · 09/01/2020 18:24

Nina and daphne

Nikster11 · 09/01/2020 18:28

Absolutely love Nina!

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 09/01/2020 18:31

Adore Flora.

Quite like Nina.

Stluciasun · 09/01/2020 18:56

Flora is awful .I think vaginal flora Confused no way.

Eva is ok the rest are not my choice at all.

17caterpillars1mouse · 09/01/2020 19:24

Nina - I kinda like it, but the only Nina's I've known have been rather whiny and high maintenance women

Edna - love it, but even so I'm not sure I'd want it to be my name, especially in the teenage years

Flora - I like it

Eva - lovely but popular in my area among the under 3s

Daphne - dislike it

Rae - nice, prefer Ray spelling

London803 · 09/01/2020 20:40

Flora favourite, least favourite Edna

DramaAlpaca · 09/01/2020 23:29

I adore Daphne, it's definitely my favourite.

Flora is nice, Eva is too. Nina is sweet.

I don't like Rae.

Edna? Really?

NemophilistRebel · 09/01/2020 23:32

Edna is very unloved at the moment

It’s a name in the family a few generations back and I quite like it Blush

FREEM · 09/01/2020 23:33

Edna is the only one I like
what about Efie or Edie

Dinosaursdontgrowontrees · 09/01/2020 23:36

I love Edna! I think Ed or Eddy is a very cool nickname too.

PandaCat · 10/01/2020 09:46

I'd pick Eva from your choices. Flora is nice too but I use the sunflower spread of the same name so wouldn't use it based on that Blush

upaladderagain · 10/01/2020 22:48

Another vote for Nina. Please not Edna. Or Ethel, Ena, Elsie or Eunice or any other pre-war charlady names.

Daddylonglegs1965 · 10/01/2020 22:52

Another vote for Nina.

I worked with a Nina once it was short for a foreign name I think. She was much older than me but she was lovely, kind, spoke her mind and very eccentric.

MrsBertBibby · 10/01/2020 23:50

Nina, head and shoulders above the rest.

mummaofbabya · 11/01/2020 12:54

Daphne or Eva, the rest of the names are dated and lack feminism

Pemba · 11/01/2020 18:00

Nina and Eva are gorgeous, I would choose one of those.

Rae is, ahem, not very classy. Plus sounds the same as old man's name Ray.

Edna is absolutely horrendous. Just a very ugly name, IMO.

Astronica · 12/01/2020 07:20

Flora is gorgeous and my favourite from your list.

Daphne and Eva are nice enough. Definitely not Rae.

madnessitellyou · 12/01/2020 11:49

Nina - I don’t know any little Ninas at all and it’s lovely!!

I know a 70 year old Daphne and she is just the most awesome person. I aspire to be like her. I’d definitely call a child Daphne as it would make me think of her!

I like Flora too.

I wanted Florence for dd2 but dh vetoed it.

Flymetothestars · 12/01/2020 11:58

Love Eva and Nina

Hate Edna sorry
