Appreciate your thoughts please. Middle names will be 'Paige Michelle' (I like paige but michelle is after DH's deceased sister)

Amelie - always liked this but wondered if too popular now. Also my (non-pregnant) sister has 'reserved' the name Amelia so would mean having to speak with her about it.

Ophelia - love it but unsure if nicknames

Seren - DH is welsh. Quite a popular name thereby we live in london

Thanks!

Love them all, but from what you say, you may as well discount Amelie and Amelia, Seren is lovely....I know only one. Ophelia also lovely ... Can't think how you would shorten though, but does that bother you? Seren could end up being called Ren, and Ophelia .... Ophe (offee)...Phe?
Good luck

I like seren best and beautiful meaning star x

Not Ophelia. Too tragic an association & scope for teasing. Amelie only sounds nice if you happen to have a French accent.

So that leaves Seren, but I prefer Serena - which also sounds better with the middle names.

Ophelia and Seren, both GORGEOUS. Great choices OP.

Of the 3 Seren is my favourite.

Ophelia for me

Acaibowl · 20/10/2019 11:59

I prefer Serena to Seren.

I like Amelie too.

Ophelia is also nice but I’d say quote out there and may raise eyebrows.

I like all 3! Can’t help

Absolutely hate Seren. Harsh sounding horrible name

Amelie and Ophelia are gorgeous

I like Ophelia but not sure it really goes with the middle names. Agree nns may be tricky.

Seren is very pretty and goes well with the middle names. Nice to honour the welsh heritage. I do also really like Serena.

Amelie will get lost amongst all the amelias and I agree with pp that it sounds a bit affected if you're not french. Plus it'll cause you family tension!
