What do you think of this name for a boy

Kace for a boy? Pronounced Case. I'm worried it's a bit too trendy and chav but really like it.

Other options are;

Theo
Ashton
Asher
Tristan

But I'm just not feeling them as much especially as it will get shortened to Ash. Also Theo a bit popular at the moment.

Thoughts please?

Awful, obviously

joystir59 · 10/10/2019 21:25

Kace is a derivative of Irish girl's name Casey

Hushabyelullaby · 10/10/2019 21:30

I'm not keen, but at the end of the day all that matters is that YOU and DP like it.

I like Tristan from your list of other names.

Thinking of other K names
Kenzie
Kellen
Keir
Koda

Gingersstuff · 10/10/2019 21:33

Casey is nice. Kace has a whiff of the Kartrashians about it and will not age well. At all.

PablosHoney · 10/10/2019 21:36

Theo is sweet, what about Seth?

littlecabbage · 10/10/2019 21:39

I like Tristan - reminds me of All Creatures Great and Small!

Other names awful, sorry (except Theo, which is overpopular).

RiosCashmereJumper · 10/10/2019 21:51

Kaïs is Arabic. Pronounced kay eass
Asher and Theo are both good options

AlliKaneErikson · 11/10/2019 16:19

I like all four of your other suggestions, but not Kace, sorry (my autocorrect is dying for him to be called Kate!).

Frith2013 · 12/10/2019 20:59

As in suit case?

Why would you do that?

FizzyGreenWater · 14/10/2019 12:43

Tristan and Asher are both good options.

I personally much prefer Tristan simply because I really don't like any name that shortens to Ash (as in fag ash...)

How about Torin or Ronan?

SallyWD · 14/10/2019 12:56

I know an 11 year old Kace. He's not remotely chavvy. Both his parents are professors and quite bohemian. His dad is Dutch - I always assumed/someone told me it was a Dutch name.

Hi everyone! My husband and I are really struggling to find a name for our baby boy due in March! We just can't agree. We have a 2 year old called Eliza so would love to find a name that goes well with hers. Classic, old fashioned, but not common! I like Austin, and Tom likes Ulysses (wish I was joking!) Any ideas please? Thanks!Grin
