My dh is one of those men with strong opinions but no suggestions when it comes to baby names!
So far when throwing suggestions at him, short ones with o and e seem to be doing best ie he likes Zoe (I’m not sure), Chloe (I think it’s a little too common) and Cleo (we both like this one). Anything else we might like? About the only other one I have on the list is Layla/Leila which I’m going to try to persuade him on again.
Names with French origin would be preferred but far from essential!
Thank you!

Not really a fan of Zoe but probably because of Ball and an obnoxious one in DC's school.

Lea?

Do you have French relatives ? Some of the French names that have been suggested would sound quite old fashioned ( not in a cute way) to French people.

Like Juno but that’s also out! Onekey, would Bea/Beatrice be old-fashioned?

Beatrice is beautiful and slightly fashionable, in a niche way.

Isla is top ten very popular.

Not keen on Layla/Leila or variations of (Lola/Lila). Cleo is nice.
