I need an unusual, quirky, pretty, girl’s name, and quick.

Baby girl due very soon. I already have 2 sons and choosing a girl’s name is so much harder!

I like more modern names mostly (with the exception of names like Hazel and Cassia) not a huge fan of say Eleanor for example.
Something that’s unusual, a bit quirky and has personality but is also pretty. I mean don’t we all want that? (For ex one of my friends has a Nova which I’ve always quite liked but not a fan of other astrological names) Don’t want anything too ridiculous though. I imagine myself saying to a teacher ‘hi my name is X’ and think whether I’d like saying that or not!

Please help! I’ll take any suggestions. Nothing is stupid, just help a struggling, overly fussy with names, mum. There are plenty of names I like but none that I just think yes, that’s my baby’s name.

Winner gets a mars bar. Unless you’re vegan. Okay I’ll stop talking now - I clearly need to go to bed.

What about a unisex name of you find girls names harder? Harper, Cameron, Taylor, Peyton, Riley, Bobbie, Eliot, Quinn, Piper?

How about Mila?

Or Hallie, Amara, Lyra, Lexy, Dinah, Orla, Amelie, Arabella, Emilia, Alia, Cassie, Effie, Celie, Thea, Anya, Zara, Rosalie, Eden, Penny, Willow?

My daughter is Effie. It’s a bit of a marmite name on here but we love it.

Thank you so much for replies all! My sons are August and Greyson (very marmite names on here). Some really good suggestions, please keep more coming!

You say you don't want a classic name like Eleanor. But you can use a name like that and call your girl Nora or Nell or Nor or Ora. Same with all the old names. Gives her options. Just a thought.
