Cant find a girls name to go with the surname

Struggling to find a name to go with the surname "Ware" I think it needs to be something with two syllables as it sounds better.
The only name we've agreed on so far is Evelyn but it's so popular at the moment I'm not sure.
Any ideas please ?
Thank you x

Seriously, Helen is a beautiful name. I have known about five of them and they have all been lovely.

It would be pronounced . Ever , lin. So maybe I'd need to sell it differently

Evelyn Ware/Evelyn Waugh? 😬 or is it just me getting that?!

Greyhound22 · 03/09/2019 08:36

I think it's a pretty good surname for going with names.

You’re pronouncing Ever-Lin.....3 syllables?

I think Ware is a surname that goes with pretty much everything. Maybe not Noah or Tuppa.... Grin

Suggestions:
Beatrix Ware
Lucy Ware
Naomi Ware
Josephine Ware

I don't like Evelyn either. I know a lovely one, known as Evie, which suits her. The Ever-lyn pronunciation doesn't sound pretty, and the name will be said as Eve-lyn or Evlyn depending on who says it.

I wish I'd thought of Tuppa. Grin AverageMummy

I used to love Evelyn, but there are so bloody many Evelyns and Evies around that it’s so bland and common nowadays. I’d avoid it now.
