My partner and I only agree on some names.
We both agree Imogen is a 'nice name' but I don't love it (no sure my partner feels that strongly either).
So my question is.... What are your thoughts on the name imogen?
And can names grow on you?

I could potentially fall in love with it! Or not! Hmm but I appreciate it is a pretty name.

I love Imogen but not keen on Immy. It feels incomplete somehow and sounds too much like Amy.

Yep my partner doesn't like immy either but I like it! But I suppose any nn develops naturally. I do think it's a very pretty/strong/classy name.

I love it. I have a niece called Imogen and she is usually Mim for short.

LOVE IT! Wanted to use it but exh had an ex girlfriend with that name so it would have been weird to use it. Think it’s gorgeous.

Love it. Love Mim for nn. Also I've seen Ginny, Meg and Meggy as nns.

Imogen is nice - I know someone with an Imogen and she calls her ‘Immy’ which I think it very cute.

I have an Imogen, so obviously we love it! She has many nicknames, mainly GinGin, Mim and unfortunately Immy at school from teachers.

I like it. Funny that you think of it as unfeminine Sparkling, it comes from a misspelling/misprint of the Celtic name Innogen, which means girl or maiden!

We're calling our baby due November Imogen. I adore it! It's a name I never even considered before but I've fallen completely in love with it. We're planning on Immy as a nn Smile

It's a nice name but if you don't love it then don't use it! Use a name you do like and that your partner likes too.

Love it so so much. Not too rare not too common.
So many nn potentials too. Know of someone that uses “Imo” - nice!
Honestly once you attach it to your child I’m sure you’ll love it

The name comes from Shakespeare.

I have an Imogen which has developed into 'Midge' for short at home (not sure where that came from!). She's Immy at school.
