Struggling to name my twins

Me and DH are struggling with choosing names for our twins, boy and girl. We are down to three girl names, but boy names we are really struggling with.

Our girl names are;
-Maggie (my current favourite, it changes daily though)
-Edie
-Mabel

Then for boy names we like;
-Michael
-Isaac
-Luca

But I'm not 100% sure on them. Thought I would have chosen by now, but I'm more indecisive than I realised.

Name Suggestions would be greatly appreciated as well as a few opinions on the names I have stated.

All are quite nice names, wait to see what they look like.

I like Maggie and Michael best separately but not 2 'm's for twins, so would use Edie and Michael. I like both Maggie and Edie, but only Michael from the boys.

Other boy ideas:
Maggie/Edie and Harry, George, Angus, Griffin, Finn, Fergus, Felix, Nico.

Other girl ideas:
Ivy, Willa, Cleo, Sylvie, Maeve, Maisie, Alice, Flora, Iris, Phoebe, Nell, Tess, Tessa, Greta.

Edie and Luca from your list.

Daisy and Luca
Emmi and Luca
Phoebe and Luca
Marnie and Luca
Lucy and Otto

Love the combo of Edie and Luca from your lists.

I’d also consider:

Alice and Isaac
Edith and Luca
Edith and Michael
Lois and Isaac

Maggie Yes, if short for Margaret.
-Edie - only if short for Edith.
-Mabel- no.

-Michael - yes, due a revival.
-Isaac - Not keen but Ok. Doesn’t go with any of the girl names.
-Luca- no. Luke or Lucas or Lucien are better.

I love M names for a girl :)

Meriel, Merryn (my current favourite), Mariela, Martha etc.

Magdelena and Lucas.

Magdelena is a really beautiful name to put on the birth certificate and you could then use Maggie. I'll be honest and say I would have hated my parents giving me a nickname like Maggie with no elegant formsl version to use. Margaret is another alternative but Magdelena is so pretty and sounds much more like Maggie. Magdelena is also European enough to work well with Luca or Lucas (I much prefer Lucas- Luca is a bit overused).

I like both maggie and Michael. But would Michael be shortened? Maggie and mikey are too similar..

I think they’re fine lists separately but they just feel like they’re different kinds of category?? Almost like two different eras iykwim?

Might just be me but I think that’s why it might seem odd pairing them off.

That thought may help or hinder you so apologies for that!

Can't understand why posters suggest awful names like Paul and Adam which clearly don't go with the girls names you like?!

Glad you're not going that tacky thing where they have names beginning with the same letter.

Luka is one of my favourite boys names! I personally prefer the spelling Luka, but Luca is lovely too.

I'm unfortunately not a huge fan of any of your girls names, I like Maggie but only as a nickname.

Is Elma to your taste? I think Luca and Elma would make a beautiful combo

If you like Michael and Luca then obvious choice is Micah which is a lovely known but uncommon name

I would go for Maggie and Zach (rather than Isaac)
