Ok so after the other thread I made, we are leaning towards Ross. I also don't know if Arthur goes with it...

So any middle name suggestions?
Also, what are your impressions of the name Ross?

Nice name
(I did comment on your other thread). Maybe Ross Fraser or Ross Callum would be nice seeing as you also liked these names

Not so keen on Ross Arthur

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 29/08/2019 20:10

Love Ross. Very cool teen, dependable handsome man . !

diddlediddle · 29/08/2019 21:54

Ross could be nice but I'd put it with a more traditional (but not grandad chic) middle name.

Ross Callum to me sounds like a very naughty boy. Ross Fraser has too many S sounds for my liking but is ok. Ross and Arthur don't match, totally different styles.

Ross Alexander
Ross Ivan
Ross William
Ross Frederick
Ross Hugo
Ross James
Ross Conrad

I dont like it sorry op

I just see Red Ross

Ross in his leather pants

PIVOT!

Fraser or Callum are both better IMO

IckleBear · 30/08/2019 09:20

Ross George
Ross Jacob
Ross Daniel
Ross Orion
Ross Ethan
Ross Frederick
Ross Declan
Ross Arden
Ross Lucian

I love it.

It goes fine with Arthur. How often do you say the names together anyway? Unless it’s a ridiculous combination, pick what you love!

Jellycat00 · 30/08/2019 11:13

Is Arthur his brother? I don't think they do go particularly but i don't think that matters. Both are really nice names.

As for a middle name,
Ross George
Ross James
Ross Thomas
Ross Dylan
Ross Benjamin
Ross Peter

BethanyGilbert · 30/08/2019 17:39

What’s it short for? Rossel? Rostopher?

SparklyMagpie · 30/08/2019 17:41

Only if everyone screams PIVOT at the birth

Morado · 30/08/2019 17:48

Haha I also came on here to say PIVOT.

Friends has had another burst of popularity since it was released on netflix and it'd the 25th anniversary. Basically I don't see it dying down anytime soon so it's not like kids won't get the Ross from friends association.

Morado · 30/08/2019 17:49

@BethanyGilbert 😂

Frith2013 · 30/08/2019 18:39

And Rachael.

I went to school with a Ross, have never met another one til last week when I met a one year old Ross. I thought it was a great name and I don't think you'll find many of them. I like Ross Arthur, or Ross Michael, Ross Joseph, Ross Charlie/Charles

Peanutbuttericecream · 30/08/2019 20:01

I love Ross. I don't like Arthur at all.

Ross Alexander sounds better.

foxtiger · 30/08/2019 21:36

I quite like Ross and I don't know anyone who has it as a first name, though I know a couple of people (one about 20, one in his 30s) who have it as a middle name. It's fairly different in style from Arthur, but as somebody else has already said, you won't be using his full name all the time - and I do like Arthur a lot in itself.

Smile19 · 31/08/2019 17:41

Ross is a fab name!! I had it on my list until someone pointed out I had another child who shares their name with a friends character(!) Lol. Calling their names in the park would be jokes.

Bol87 · 01/09/2019 13:09

I like Ross. 100% Friends for me but no bad thing! It won’t be to his generation, just the parents!

funmummy48 · 01/09/2019 13:11

Love it!

OtraCosaMariposa · 01/09/2019 13:56

We;re in Scotland where Ross is far more common as a first name. I know people called Ross aged between about 5 and 45. I wouldn't automatically associate it with Friends. Chandler yes, Ross no.
