Rate our girls names please

This is our list of girls names but I can’t say one jumps out at us and that we are totally sold on it. What do you like? Help!

In order, I prefer:

Romilly

I don't like Marina or Romilly at all. The rest are all good to fine.

They are all excellent names though I'm not mad about 'Camilla'.
It makes a change to see a list of quite classic names.
Good for you.

Beatrice - I feel like I should love this but not sure why I don’t feel it
Elizabeth - don’t like this but Libby & Beth are lovely nicknames
Camilla - like this a lot although I love Camille more
Marina - dislike
Francesca - dislike
Romilly - quite nice although very different to your other choices
Henrietta - I quite like this - love Hetty
Annabel - nice

I think they are all lovely chicken names too @slobberyblob - my friends with chickens defo have good taste I will have do some investigating on their choices to see if I can get some more inspiration

I love Francesca. Was on my list for dd 14 years ago.

Beatrice - is ok
Elizabeth- my favourite on your list
Camilla - dont like
Marina - i just think of a posh harbour
Francesca- I like it
Romilly- dont like it
Henrietta - not keen
Annabel - not keen but like Anna

Feel Beatrice and Camilla are too closely linked to the Royal Family

Romilly, Henrietta and Annabel are all a bit try-hard

I don’t feel much about Marina

Elizabeth and Francesca are both good options

Agree with pps - how about Anna? An elegant classic

Or in the try-hard vein Georgina / Georgiana, Allegra, Arabella?

Elizabeth - dull
Camilla - I just think of her and Charlie’s terrible sex tape
Marina - where you moor a boat
Francesca - ok
Romilly - no. What your tummy does if you’re hungry.

@CornforthWhite camilla is a beautiful name. Sorry about the chicken comment. Sometimes I need to think before I type.

Nice list. I like most of these but don’t love Beatrice or Henrietta, and find Romilly out of keeping with your other choices, style-wise.

Other suggestions: Helena, Rosanna.

Francesca would be the stand out name for me. Many nn possibilities - Frankie, Frances, fran, Cesca.

Romilly is my second favourite

Broadly speaking I like your taste in names. I love the nicknames for lots of these names too- Bea for Beatrice, Lizzie/Beth for Elizabeth, Milly for Camilla, Frankie/Franny for Francesca, Hetty for Henrietta etc

Beatrice and Camilla definitely my favourite though and you could have Beatrix and Camille as slightly more unusual alternatives?

Romilly - not my taste
Henrietta - quite sweet for a child but can't imagine an adult with that name!
Annabel - i really dislike this. It's overly frilly and boring!
