Think you'd have to fight 'Cozzie' as a nickname quite hard for Cozette/Cosette. And it's very (solely?) associated with Les Miserables.

Savannah is a bit perspex heels territory, sorry. JMO, though.

Colette's not bad?

denirosknee · 07/08/2019 15:04

I don't mind Cosette with an S, but unless you are french / of french descent it's an odd choice.

I really don't like Savannah or Collette, sorry! Collette sounds dated to me and Savannah a bit try-hard.

Only my view, though - what matters is that you like them!

NoSauce · 07/08/2019 15:11

Cosette is lovely. Cosy for short.

Not keen on Savannah at all. Collette isn’t much better it’s very plain and dull.

GreigLaidlawsbarofsoap · 07/08/2019 15:44

Colette / Collette is the best of those 3 for me. Although there are several much more attractive French names if you like that type.

Savannah is edging into "chav" territory (at least where I live anyway).

Cozette sounds like a brand of the pill.

Toddlerteaplease · 07/08/2019 16:00

I read Cozette as Cerazette!

bamacuppa · 07/08/2019 16:18

Thanks all! I still love every name - although will use Cosette! However I’m going to explore some other options... you’ll probably be seeing another thread from me very soon!

Savannah is my favourite of your options, but much prefer Susannah for a similar sounding, but imo classier name.

demureandgraceful · 07/08/2019 20:56

Cossette with s rather then z is beautiful. Not sure about the other two names

Colette sounds like a brand of toothpaste.

Cozette sounds like the word cosset which means mollycoddling - not great.

Savannah is a town is South Carolina.

manicinsomniac · 07/08/2019 21:58

I have a Savannah. I was very young when I had her but I still love the name. And if it's good enough for the queen's great grand daughter ...

I adore Les Mis but I think Cosette is just too tied to that and nothing else. Although I did at one point consider Eponine semi seriously so I can't talk! Blush

Don't really like Colette.

applesauce1 · 07/08/2019 22:17

Courgette

Bubbletrouble43 · 07/08/2019 22:29

I love colette and cosette. Not keen on savannah, not sure why, I just prefer the other two. Especially colette!

Astronica · 08/08/2019 04:29

Colette is lovely and easy first choice for me. Cosette spelt this way is 2nd choice. Not keen on Savannnah.

The name Cozette means Victorious and little pet. A French, girly, feminine name, Cozette has a musical connection. Cozette has the song castle on a cloud from les mis through the character Cozette. As well as Cozette being a graceful, beautiful name, the nickname Cozi is a stunning nickname. The feeling of being cozi brings to mind cuddling up around a fire on a winters night, bedtime stories, watching movies in bed, family time and being tranquil, finding your personal haven. Cozi as a nickname is gorgeous to me. I love the co and the zi in the name. Co at the beginning is linked to the name Coco which also makes you think of cosy feelings of having hot cocoa by a fire at Christmas time as well as coco chanel and the Zi on the end spelt Zi gives it a cool chick aspect. Cozi sounds gorgeous to me as a name and it highlights the cosy feelings you have towards your children. There is a vlogger who has a little girl called cozette delilah bloom and ever since then i have thought the name is lovely

AverageMummy · 04/09/2019 07:48

I don’t like either although I don’t have the strength of feelings as other posters. Just not keen on them that’s all.

What about Coraline or Cora ? I think they are beautiful

Jellycat00 · 06/09/2019 03:37

I'm not keen on either I'm afraid.
I prefer Susannah or Corrine. Or Sienna.
