I like Alessia and Eden!

Grufallosfriends · 07/08/2019 14:32

I like Sienna.

SnowdropFox · 07/08/2019 14:35

Really like your list, the only one of rule out myself is Bella. That's just because there seems to be a lot of Bella/Belle names and nn around here and I'd rather not have her be the 5th one in her year.

Shadow1234 · 07/08/2019 18:05

Elsie and eden are my favourite from your list.

Eden

I like Eden best.

Ettie, Elsie and Eden are my favourites. Particularly Ettie because it's not so widely used.

Alessia reminds me of the brand Ellesse.

Sienna and Bella are too widely used, she'd be one of at least 2-3 in her class.

AverageMummy · 15/08/2019 08:51

@TokenGinger at under 0.5% of babies a year it’s somewhat unlikely there would be 3 in a class of 30.

AverageMummy · 15/08/2019 08:52

I am just one internet stranger so count for nothing.... but my honest reactions....

Alessia - beautiful
Ettie - it’s ok but doesn’t seem like a real name for me. Lovely as a nickname for Henrietta or Juliet etc
Elsie - really pretty name
Eden - lovely & less ‘cutesy’
Bella - really dislike
Sienna - awful

MarshaBradyo · 15/08/2019 08:55

Eden out of all of them

Too many E - ie names out there for Elsie (Evie etc) and it’s quite cutesy and old sounding

KezzabellaB · 15/08/2019 09:05

Eden is lovely 😊

TokenGinger · 15/08/2019 09:07

@AverageMummy 🙄 You know what I mean. They are the Sarah, Laura, Sophie, Lauren, Katie, Hayley names of this generation and there was always more than one of those in my different classes at school.

You get the point I'm making, though. They're far more popular than some of the other names she has suggested.

AverageMummy · 15/08/2019 09:22

@TokenGinger the difference was when we went to school the top names would statistically be multiple in a year. Now the trend is to be as unique as possible so even the top names are rare. For example Sienna would be on average less than half a child in an entire secondary school year group. It’s a different world now with the fashion being ‘unique’.
