We're on Round 1 of shortening our girl's name list. What do you think of these names ...

Caroline/Callie
Emmeline/Emmy
Juliet
Angela
Saskia
Isobel
Clara

Caroline, Juliet and Saskia are great.

Caroline/Callie - 1970s
Emmeline/Emmy - Emmeline is ok. Emmy is awful.
Juliet - no
Angela - 1960s.
Saskia - nice
Isobel - ok.
Clara - ok

They are all lovely but I especially like Juliet and Clara.

Caroline/Callie - outdated
Emmeline/Emmy - ok. prefer the leen sound to line. Emmy is cute though - proper name in its own right in Germany / Scandinavia somewhere I’m not sure. Google it. (Prefer Emma)
Juliet - ok. better when pronounced with soft t and not ‘ette’ Iyswim
Angela - 55 year old woman.
Saskia - really really like
Isobel - VERY popular but nice name. Prefer the Isabelle spelling personally.
Clara - lovely.

Caroline/Callie - unexciting but fine
Emmeline/Emmy - nice
Juliet - lovely; you could also try Julianne/Juliana
Angela - very dated; what about Angelina?
Saskia - nice
Isobel - OK, prefer Isabel/Isabella
Clara - meh, reminds me of Dr Who

I only like Saskia and Isobel
