So I found out today at 20 week scan it’s a GIRL! First baby but I have 4 brothers and DH has 2 (boys seem to run in family), skull and nub theory suggested boy and the wedding ring thing swung in circles. So I just assumed it was a boy stupidly. Anyway I’m over the moon of course but I have no idea whatsoever of names. I found girl names really hard. We had the boy name picked out so now I’m stuck.

I really love the name Everly Blush but realise it’s not MN approved so really want to hear your favourite names.

TIA

Everly was top of my list for ages!

Probably either:

  • Persephone Winter (Sephie for short)

Or

  • Seraphina Elodie

OP I love Everley. If DP let's me that would be it. Otherwise, Sadie

Clawdy · 09/08/2019 15:45

Everley to me always means The Everley Brothers, but that's showing my age!

Lara, was my first choice for DD but DH wanted to have his late mum's name as a middle and they are too similar. DD is Juliet.

Chuffed to see my eldest’s name mentioned (Constance). A few people said it was a granny name when she was born 26 years ago.
Which it was a bit, but there were some very eminent Constances in the Victorian era, plus that one in Lace who went knickerless in a French Count’s wine cellar and had a goldfish put up her foof (separate occasions I think)
I could be making the last bit up. It’s 30 years since I read it.
