Uncommon baby girl names?

Me and my partner are trying for our first baby, we are very much set on a boys name. However we are really struggling with baby girl names. He wants traditional and I want somewhat uncommon so we are sort of trying to find traditional names but with an unusual spelling or something 😂. I'd just want her to be the only one with her name in the class. He loves Amelia and I'm actually considering it but spelt like Emilia, does it look different enough or does it just look illiterate? I think Emilia is the most common name I'd go for (Sorry for any offence caused😳). Please please please suggest some names. We have to start looking now otherwise our child will be 12 still without a name 😂. Thanks for reading ☺️

In all honesty it comes down to where you live too, regarding how popular names are. Some names are really popular in one part of the country and very uncommon in another. E.g if ds had been a girl I wanted Esme, that was 16 years ago, never knew anyone with the name. Now, it seems every other child is Esme around here. We picked a boys a name we hadn’t heard of, and knew not one, now next door neighbours grandson has it, two houses the road behind me have boys called it, and I also know some girls with it. Thankfully ds is the only one in his school year- but there are several in the years below.

I know one mum who wanted unique names for her sons- so made them up. A few later she heard someone had heard his name and used it for their son. By the time her son started playing football, there were 3 other boys with the same name. To say she was not happy, would be an understatement. But no one owns a name!!

There's an Ilezia on our family tree...
But they would be asked to spell it all the time..

Or you could use the original Latin form, Aemilia. People would be bound to spell it wrong, though.
