Not a fan of Marina but like the other three. Zara is my favourite.

What does your surname sound like with the names? Zara is a nice name, short difficult to shorten and lengthen. Yes thumbs up for Zara.

Lara - not actually a fan as much a Zara
Marina - this will age well, and it is the most original from your list
Robyn - my friend has a girl with this name, her nickname is bobbin which I absolutely love.
Zara - beautiful name, classic yet original

Well that’s not true, I also like Lara. But if I were naming my daughter Zara is the only one on that list that I would consider.

Zara is best. I don't like Robyn on any name ending in an 'in' sound, too twee.

Lara - like but my mouth wants to say 'Laura' - I find it quite a difficult word!
Marina - very posh!
Robyn - I much prefer Robin even though it's the male spelling Blush
Zara - like but don't love

@HappydaysArehere They all link well with our surname (I think so at least!) and the middle name we have chosen.

I think that's why we're finding it difficult to narrow down.

Thanks again for all your views - in spite of the negative I still like all the names which is a good thing I suppose!

  2. Zara

Lara- dull
Marina- I absolutely love it!!! Really classy and fresh. Love it
Robyn- horrible sound and spelling
Zara- don’t like it.

Lara and Marina are both gorgeous, still slightly exotic sounding and relatively unusual.

Zara is fine.

Robyn is OK but still seems a bit masculine to me, even with this spelling.

I don't really like any of them, though I do quite like Robin with an i.

Marina is particularly awful, though.

Good to hear that the general consensus is that there aren't any disasters in there. Think we'll have to wait and see "what" she looks like when she arrives!

I love Marina and Robyn, like Zara, not keen on Lara.
