Which middle names flows best?

We can't decide between two middle names to go with Niamh. Both have special meaning to us so we want to use one of them (even though they may not be perfect match). Which sounds better:
Niamh Ophelia
Niamh Adeline
Thanks!

I prefer Niamh Adeline.

Watersnail · 11/06/2019 00:38

Both are nice but Niamh flows better with Adeline.

Juniperjunojunijune · 11/06/2019 06:30

Niamh Adeline sounds better, I think

Another vote for Adeline. I love Ophelia as a name but the negative connotations would put me off ever using it.

Yep it's Adeline.

Niamh Adeline is lovely.

The v/f sounds in Niamh Ophelia are a bit much.

LegoPiecesEverywhere · 11/06/2019 07:41

Niamh Adeline

Niamh Ophelia is hard to say

Bringmewineandcake · 11/06/2019 07:46

Niamh Adeline.

Niamh Ophelia sounds like a disorder...sorry.

lottiegarbanzo · 11/06/2019 09:44

Depends a bit on your surname, so whether it's flowing into a vowel or a consonant - but, you rarely say the whole name out loud anyway. Ophelia could work better with an 'initial consonant' surname.

I prefer Adeline as a name but Ophelia does have a nice flow and something quite grand about it.

Niamh Adeline

Niamh Adeline

Thanks everyone, so helpful. We have tested out so many name combos at this point we almost can't hear them any more! Adeline clearly has it though!
