Hi I'm a mum of 3 already and we are due to have 3 more in July and we are struggling so much with names for them. Are 3 other kids are Dylan James, Henry Arthur and Hannah Rose. We have a few first names in mind and middle names but are struggling.

First names:
Isobel
Leah
Kate
Holly
Thea

Middle names:
Mia
Jo
Louise

We have a few first names but are really struggling for middle names. We would like the triplets names to flow nicely but not fussed if they don't flow with the other 3. Smile

KindnessCrusader · 11/06/2019 20:18

If I had girl triplets I'd have:
Allegra
Valentina
Calista

I do love a nickname so probably Aggie, Teenie and Callie. I'm excited for you!

icannotremember · 11/06/2019 20:37

Obvs my first reply was a joke :)

I'd have Sofia, Klara and Lidia if it were up to me entirely. Middle names would be family names, so Elizabeth, Josephine and Teresa would have to be used but I don't know in what combination and I don't think Teresa would flow particularly well with any of my chosen first names.

username1724 · 12/06/2019 01:19

Isobel Mia
Leah Jo (or Josephine/Joelle sounds nicer I think)
Thea Louise

They're lovely! I find Holly and Kate very 90s, there were always loads of them at school..

WittyFool · 12/06/2019 02:03

Isabel & Thea are lovely - not a fan of the others except Holly but would prob avoid another H if possible - though wouldn’t be a deal breaker for me - maybe Molly instead?

Nat6999 · 12/06/2019 02:30

icannotremember another Chalet school fan, they were the first names that I thought of.

OverTheWeather · 12/06/2019 03:39

Wow, OP! How old are your other children?

I like all the names on your list helpful

MerryMarigold · 12/06/2019 04:17

I'd let grandparents give the middle names. That's what we did with our twins. I think it's lovely that they have a gift from their gp's in their name. Never would have chosen those names but quite cool .

SherlockSays · 12/06/2019 05:14

My DD is called Thea and my middle name is Jo so that would be perfect lol Grin Thea Jo Smile

gerispringer · 12/06/2019 05:38

Yes any family names you could use.?
Otherwise I’d go for a flower theme for middle names- Rose, Lily and Iris.

ThinkWittyThoughts · 12/06/2019 07:03

I won't contribute to names but I will say that the rhythm of the names helps with flow.

So first name two syllable, second name one adds punch and gives a satisfying beat.

Or first name three, second name two.

Dum-di Dum.
Dum-di-dum Dum-dum.

I think that stops Kate-Louise from flowing properly. Whereas Louise-Kate feels more satisfying.

Blush I'll get my coat...

Ps. 3!!! Congratulations Grin

Hi, I had all girl triplets a few weeks ago and we settled on the middle ma’am r’s Rose, Raine and Reese. We also tried out Wren, Rivers and Racheal because we wanted the middle names to match. Out of your list of first names I like Isobel, Leah and Thea the best and I definitely considered them, just not Leah and Thea together. My girls are called Anais, Leila and Violet.

Frazzled2207 · 12/06/2019 13:29

Wow congratulations hope it goes well

FizzyGreenWater · 12/06/2019 16:57

Isobel Mia
Kate Louise
Thea Jo

would be my choices of the names you have

FizzyGreenWater · 12/06/2019 16:58

And you surely CANNOT have Leah and Thea together!

icannotremember · 12/06/2019 18:42

Nat6999 I couldn't believe no one else had suggested them!

Icklepup · 13/06/2019 17:44

Thea Juliet
Maisie Louise
Layla Violet

MotherofaCat · 13/06/2019 21:26

My favourite combo would be;

Wow! Must be so difficult, I’m struggling enough with one name. I like all your name choices to be honest. I like the sound of either Holly Louise or Thea Louise.
