Congrats on your gorgeous baby girl! This is a tough one for me. I know a lovely person named Brooke and a lovely person named Lacy. Which one feels "more right" to you?

Mummysgirl45 · 03/06/2019 05:22

Wee like them both it’s so hard

Aquamarine1029 · 03/06/2019 05:23

What's the baby's surname?

Mummysgirl45 · 03/06/2019 05:26

Will be Kay Hendren

Aquamarine1029 · 03/06/2019 05:29

Lacy Hendren and Brooke Hendren are both lovely. Personally, I prefer "stronger" names, so I would choose Brooke. Either way, you can't go wrong.

desparate4sleep · 03/06/2019 05:30

Yes it's too close to Lucy. Go with Brooke much nicer name anyway.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 03/06/2019 05:40

Far too close. Brooke is a fab name.

memaymamo · 03/06/2019 05:43

You can't have a Lucy and a Lacy!

Whatareyoutalkingabout · 03/06/2019 05:51

You really can't. It's exactly the same name with just one letter different!

Giraffeinabox · 03/06/2019 06:14

Lucy and lacy? Are the crime stoppers from the 70's?! No, defo go with Brooke. Congrats!

SnowdropFox · 03/06/2019 06:42

Definitely Brooke. Lacy is just too close as you suggested.

Canone · 03/06/2019 06:51

Brooke! Lucy and Lacy are waaayyy too close. Macy?

Congratulations on your little girl Flowers

Penny4Thoughts · 03/06/2019 07:35

Lacy can be a nickname for Larissa

Penny4Thoughts · 03/06/2019 07:38

Wondering if you might like Celia? Similar sounds but in reverse

Astronica · 03/06/2019 07:39

No Lacy is too close to Lucy. Brooke would be a good choice!

Chocolateandcarbs · 03/06/2019 07:40

I’m really sorry but Lucy and Lacy did make me smile a bit - too close imo, but it’s your baby! If you really love Lacy could you hyphenate it with something else? Lacy-Mae? Congratulations x.

CloserIAm2Fine · 03/06/2019 07:58

Definitely too close! Which is a shame as I like Lacy although I’d personally spell it Lacey. But with a Lucy you really shouldn’t do it!

Icklepup · 03/06/2019 08:08

Brooke

SnowyAlpsandPeaks · 03/06/2019 08:42

Brooke! Lacy is too close. Plus Brooke is nicer! Many Congratulations!!

Stephanie01 · 03/06/2019 09:57

Cobgratulations. Lucy and Brooke are beautiful.

Watersnail · 03/06/2019 11:01

Lacy is too similar to Lucy. It also reminds me of hankies, tablecloths and underwear.

Brooke would be a better choice IMO.

justilou1 · 03/06/2019 11:04

I hate to be so blunt when we’re talking about babies, but as a combo, Lucy and Lacy sound like stripper names. (This is coming from someone who wanted Mimi and Lulu for twins, and my best friend said they’re either strippers or poodles.)

Watersnail · 03/06/2019 11:09

Josie, Lexie, Nancy, Grace/Gracie, Darcy, Elsie, Maisie are still similar but not as close.

daisypond · 03/06/2019 11:19

You cannot have Lacy if you have a Lucy.

Queenbumble · 03/06/2019 19:14

Please don’t hyphenate that’s even worse
