I love it

I like the name but I do think cat

We call our Felix Fe (actually mostly I call him Mr Fidget but that’s another thread entirely 😬). We love the name and the meaning. Only ever one Felix the cat comment and he’s 10 now.

I’ve always loved it but DP vetoed purely because of the cat food.

I think it has a European feel.
I however do not like it. Not just the feline association but also the sound.

I'm afraid I also really dislike it and the sound it makes. It's not a name I would choose personally.

Love it and shortlisted it but ultimately the cat (and especially cat food brand) connection put me off.

I really like it. I know a little boy called Felix, and find it rather cool.

I love it, but DH and my dad both immediately vetoed it the grounds of "like the cat?" 🙄
(My dad doesn't really get a veto; he just likes to think he does!)
The meaning is lovely.

I have a Felix. I still love the name. It means happy.

I think its a great choice - as well as happy its means lucky or fontunate (hence why it was so popular for cats I guess) However I don't like Felicity which is the female equivalent. I love Rex and Max as well. Must be a Latin thing lol
