Not scottish (or even british) but I really like Hamish.

Ruadhri sounds also pretty cool. And Alasdair, Arran and Craig.

Not a fan of Donald because of association with a duck and with a president...

I think Hamish is Scottish. As far as I'm aware it's an Anglicised version of Seumas which means James. The aspirated Gaelic name sounds like Hamish to English ears.
