What names make you picture:

Tall, thin, classic, Barbour jackets, pearls, cashmere beige knit, soft powdery perfume, loafers, headband, smart, pretty, well spoken, upper class, posh, Burberry trench.

Which names do you think suits this image?

Thanks in advance!

Wow, this child has a lot to live up to! Grin

The poshest people I know of that ilk have the simplest names. Hence Jane, Catherine, Sarah, Harriet - but they’re all over 50. Children are called things like Rose.

I'd say plain names too, or royal names.
Look at society pages for inspiration.

Sounds very Riders to me.

I used to teach at Pony Club Camp and the "posher" mums who fitted this description were:
Juliet, Henrietta, Alexandra, Catherine, Georgiana, Fiona, Philippa, Charlotte, Camilla, Edwina, Belinda, Lucinda, Angela

Children (who would be aged 12-20 now) were:
Beetle (yes, really), Sophia, Olympia, Chloe, Scarlet, Cassandra, Greta, Matilda, Jessica, Erica, Lucy, Tatiana, Claire, Kitty, Emily, Rosie

Thanks for all the replies. There does seem to be a mismatch between older generation and young generation names. What would someone of that image name their daughter? I should have been more specific in my question

Dahlia L'estrange

She also strangles kittens for fun, but it's all part of her workout regimen so absolutely okay.

Whoops75 · 09/05/2019 10:44

Are you new money or old money?

MNOverinvestor · 09/05/2019 10:49

Classical names with a bit of twist (and can be shortened) are a safe bet - Charlotte (Lottie, never Charlie), Heloise (Lou), Cassandra (Cassie), Tabitha (Tabby)
