Long list of names I don't love enough...

I'm sorry for the mammoth list! Confused

These are names that I like, but I don't love any of them quite enough, IYSWIM.

If anyone can suggest similar names (not too 'pretty' I.e. not too many initial/ending vowels, fairly strong/classic, with a vague French connection), I would be very grateful... or pick those that you particularly like from my long-list.

Can't use Anna, Sophie, Elisabeth, Marianne, Beatrice, Evelyn, Charlotte, Eleanor... and have already asked MN for specifically French suggestions but most were too 'pretty'!

Zelie/Zeylie? Should have an accent on the first e in the first spelling but not sure how to get special characters on my phone!

Of the names on your list I adore Mathilde, Melisande and Florence! I say go with one of those Smile I also personally adore Amélie, Clémentine and Elodie but they're perhaps too pretty for your tastes? Camille is lovely too, as is Manon.

How about Céline, Allegra, Zelda, Freya, Tabitha, Giselle, Zola or Aline? These all just came to mind after my previous response.
