I love the name Romy
I also like Romany and Romilly and guess they would be shortened to Romy
Me and DH have a double barrelled last name and both 8/9 letters long so want to keep the first name short and sweet and not have a middle name
What do you all think?
I don't want to tell people the name as it is very different and I have never met anybody with any of these names and worry that they are too unique, I wouldn't want my daughter being teased if it sounds silly, am I over thinking this?

Romy on its own is lovely.

I like Romy and know a 3 year old Romy actually, so I don't think it's hugely unusual. Would you pronounce it 'Rome-ee' or Rom-ee'? I prefer Rome-ee and think it's lovely

I love romy on its own but don't like romilly or romany I think romy by itself is beautiful and unique.
