Here's our shortlist - I favour Audrey but DH favours Marnie. I am not sure if Marnie sounds like a "proper" name - sounds a bit American / made-up / as if it's short for something? (no offence to any Marnies out there!). Sylvia and Francesca are compromise names that we are both OK with. Middle name is likely to be Joy, Valentina or Elizabeth.

Audrey
Sylvia
Marnie
Francesca

I dislike Sylvia.
Audrey makes me think of Audrey Roberts off Corrie.
Marnie doesn't seem like a name.
Francesca is by far the nicest.

Marnie just makes me think of the TV show Girls - it's a great show but some interesting scenes with Marnie!

Audrey isn't my fave - i would probably choose Sylvia

Audrey - Sweet
Sylvia - Don't like
Marnie - Don't like
Francesca - Love

Hmm this is just reinforcing what I already thought - I don't think Marnie is enough of a proper name. Could be short for Margaret or something I guess but I'm not keen on that!

I don't watch TV but remember Corrie from watching it at my grandmother's. Names like Audrey, Ivy, Ida, Ena, Elsie... make me shudder.

Audrey - like Hepburn, beautiful
Sylvia - lovely, shimmery
Marnie - Hitchcock - is sassy, like it
Francesca - presume Fran Chesca......nice and with potential for shortenings, Frankie, Fran, Chessie

I like Marnie (been playing a lot of Stardew Valley recently, she's sweet in it). I like Francesca especially with the nickname Frankie :)

I do like Marnie, but admit the Marnie from Geordie shore has put me off a little bit. Prefer Sylvie to Sylvia aswell.

I like Marnie (my great grandmothers name, not short for anything) and Audrey
