Anita - It's ok. Pretty dated though and hasn't made a comeback yet. But then, going for that generation of names is the way to guarantee being unusual in her generation. I teach a little girl called Deborah which I have never come across in anyone under at least 30 in the last 15 years. I think Anita fits the same bracket.
Talitha - I really, really like this. Which is strange as I don't like Tabitha. But I think it ticks all the boxes of classic/traditional yet unusual and elegant, pretty and timeless.
Ameerah - I have always thought of this as an Arabic, Muslim name. But just googled and seen it also has Hebrew and Swahili roots so I guess it could be used quite happily by the majority! It's pretty. I think I prefer the spelling Amira.
Maisie - I like it. It's perhaps a little bit cutesie not to have a longer, more formal version (or at least I don't think it does). Having said that, I can imagine a quirky, independent adult Maisie.
Rogan - I'm not consciously aware of this name but instantly added Josh to it so I must have heard it somewhere. Not sure who Rogan Josh is though. I think I quite like it but much prefer Logan or Rowan.
Arlo - I really like this. Keep seeing on mumsnet that it's everywhere and super trendy/will date but I am yet to meet a little Arlo and I've been a teacher for 12 years.
Elijah - Really like it. A decade or so ago I would have assumed you were Jewish but I now know loads of Christians who have gone for previously rare old testament names too. They've definitely made a comeback (led by people looking for something less popular than Noah perhaps_.
Jacob - Really like it. Like the nn Jake too. It covers all bases for me. Cute, mischievous little Jake and more serious, educated Jacob.
I'd go with Talitha and Jacob.
